Elicitation and processing of personal data

Generally, you can visit the webpages of BOA Metal Solutions GmbH without us requiring any personal data from you. Personal data is only collected if you provide it to us voluntarily, for example in the context of a contact request.

Use and disclosure of personal data and earmarking

All personal data arising in the context of the Internet direct services of BOA Metal Solutions GmbH will be collected, processed, and used in accordance with the applicable regulations for the protection of personal data, only for the purpose of contract execution and to protect our own legitimate business interests with regard to the advice and support of our customers and prospects.

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your information, including the contact data provided in the form, will be stored for the purpose of processing the inquiry. We will not pass on this information without your consent.

The processing of the data entered in the contact form is based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a). DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. An informal message to us by e-mail is sufficient. The legality of the data processing carried out up to the point of revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Planned data transmission to third countries

A transmission to third countries is currently not planned.

We use technical and organizational security measures to protect the data you have made available to us from accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction, or access by unauthorized persons. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

Cookies

In addition to the data mentioned above, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive associated with the browser you are using and through which the space that sets the cookie (in this case by us) receives certain information. Cookies contain a string of characters that enables the browser to be identified when the website is called up again.

We use the following types of cookies:

  • Functional/essential cookies

These cookies are of fundamental importance for the functioning of our website. This is, for example, the allocation of anonymous session IDs for bundling multiple queries to a web server or the error-free functioning of logins and orders.

These cookies help us remember settings you have selected or support other functions as you navigate our website. For example, we may remember your preferred settings for your next visit or store your login information for certain areas of our website. Additional information about how you use our website (e.g., internet browser used, number of visits, pages viewed, or time spent on the website) are collected. These cookies do not store information that allows personal identification of the visitor. The information collected using these cookies is aggregated and therefore anonymous.

You can consent or refuse cookies – including for web tracking – via our cookie banner.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. In the event that IP anonymization is activated on this website, however, your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity, and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however, please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. Other data uses and data deletion
